Cost to hire
Please note that the regalia bundles below are a general guide only as every institution has slightly different regalia sets and different colour trims and styles of Degree Hoods, Scarves/Stoles and Tassels. Please go to Hire / Buy and click on your institute and event date for more information.

We have a supply of the most commonly requested hoods and scarves/stoles in stock, other items are made to order on request. If the item you require is from a University not listed above, please provide us with a photograph of what you would like to purchase, we will advise you of options.

Bonds
For graduations at the University of Auckland, Manukau Institute of Technology, Auckland University of Technology or Unitec or another graduation where Academic Dress Hire is the preferred and official supplier - no bond is payable
For photographs or for casual hire - bond is payable as security for the hire of graduation regalia.
The bond may be increased for extended hire periods - only by prior arrangement with TGP.
Your bond will be fully refunded on return of graduation regalia, if returned on time and in good condition.

Combining hire and purchase of regalia
You can hire and / or buy the full regalia set or some of the regalia set.
There are options to hire or buy during the ordering process and in the shopping cart.
All hired items will need to be returned at the times stated on your invoice to avoid late fee penalties.
Occasionally purchased items are on pre-order, please contact if you need it within 5 weeks of your event.
